I am interested in handling complex problems well, whether in life, society, or engineering. I think often about community, and I want a world where people in vulnerable positions do not have to die.

I think that the only way to move an inevitably small and narrow life forward, and leave a mark on the world, is to cultivate an attitude of trying to understand the world and the people in it, even a little better.

I want to create experiences and accomplishments that cannot be replaced or imitated. I care about making this process, which can easily become solemn and dangerous, safer and easier, or, more ambitiously, enjoyable.

I majored in English literature at university and have made my living through software engineering for several years. I do not know what the future holds. I do not think there is such a thing as a fixed aptitude or calling, and I believe I can become anything.
